En mai dernier, les archéologues qui fouillent le site de l’ancienne clinique Saint-Louis, près de la gare, avaient montré les vestiges d’un bas-relief dont il manquait le motif principal : la tête du dieu Mithra. Ils l’ont retrouvée ce mois-ci. Le démontage du temple leur a aussi permis de découvrir… un temple sous le temple ainsi que des objets rarissimes : un bronze intact de Bacchus, quelques très jolies statuettes en marbre et en poterie et des pièces en argent. Le chantier s’est achevé aujourd’hui. Demain, place aux bulldozers.
