Statue in limestone (H. 0.70 Br. 0.35), found on the bank of the brook which runs through the town of Romula. Bucarest, National Museum, Inv. No. 613.

Mithras whose neck and head are lost is being born from the rock. Both hands rest on the rock and he holds a knife in his l.h. and a torch in his r.h. In the upper part of the rock is a circular hole (diam. 0.09) by means of which the statue could be attached to a fountain or well. Underneath it is a plate without inscription. The reverse of the monument is rough.
