Aquincum vallási életében egykor a titokzatos Mithras kultusz is fontos szerepet játszott. Az Aquincumi Múzeum egyik különlegessége, hogy területén a látogatók két Mithras szentélyt is megtekinthetnek. A Victorinus mithraeum falmaradványai a Romkert részeként, a Symphorus mithraeum pedig helyreállított védőépület formájában látogatható. Utóbbiban egyedülálló részletességgel nemcsak a falakat, de tipikus berendezési tárgyakat, valamint itt talált leleteket is megfigyelhetnek a múzeumba látogatók.
