Fragments of a marble relief (H. 0.66 Br. 0.955 D. 0.065). Nogara-Magi, 239 and PI. XVI, 6. See fig. 117. Only the lower part of the relief has been preserved. Mithras is slaying the bull; the dog and the serpent are licking the blood from the wound; a large scorpion grasps the testicles. Behind the bull Cautopates, pointing downwards his burning torch, which he holds with both hands.
