Tauroctony relief from Sutri
A marble tauroctony relief, broken in two pieces, found at Sutri in Etruria in 1896 and now in the Museo Nazionale delle Terme in Rome, with raven, dog, serpent and scorpion present, the upper part with the heads of Sol and Mithras broken off and Luna's bust alone preserved, with traces of gilding.

Marble relief, broken in two pieces. Found at Sutri in 1896. Now in the Museo Nazionale delle Terme, Rome.
Mithras tauroctone in the usual dress. The bull's tail ends in three ears. The accompanying animals — raven, dog, serpent and scorpion — are present. The upper part with the heads of Sol and Mithras are broken off; of Luna the bust has been preserved only. Traces of gilding.
