An inscription recording the completion and dedication of the Temple of Sol at Como by T. Flavius Postumius Titianus, corrector of Italy, by order of the emperors Diocletian and Maximian, with Axilius the Younger as curator of the city of the Comenses.

Inscription from Como (ancient Comum), recording the completion and dedication of the Temple of Sol.Templum dei Solis / iussu d(ominorum) n(ostrorum) Diocletiani / et Maximiani Aug(ustorum) / T(itus) Fl(avius) Post(umius) Titianus v(ir) c(larissimus) corr(ector) / Ital(iae) perfecit ac dedicavit / curante Axilio iuniore / v(iro) c(larissimo) curatore c[iv(itatis) Comensium].Titus Flavius Postumius Titianus served as consul in 301, then as consul suffectus, and finally as curator Italiae Transpadanae.
