A sandstone slab found along the border of the Tagus river near Thirmarum (modern Trillo, near Cifuentes in Guadalajara), recording an inscriptoiin by a certain Cornelius, freedman of Gaius.

Slab in sandstone, found along the border of the Tagus at Thirmarum (modern Trillo, near Cifuentes, Guadalajara).Sol(i) aug(usto) v(otum) / Dio G(ai) lib(ertus) / s(olvit) l(ibens).The inscription was originally interpreted as a dedication to Sol Augustus by a freedman named Dio and was included by Cumont (MMM II, no. 523) and later by Vermaseren (CIMRM 807) among the testimonies of Mithraic or solar worship in Hispania.
