A funerary inscription from Besançon (ancient Vesontio) in Belgica, bearing the title mater sacrorum, but correctly excluded from the Mithraic corpus, as women were barred from Mithras sanctuaries.

A sepulchral inscription from Besançon (ancient Vesontio), Belgica (CIL XIII 5384), bearing the title mater sacrorum. There is no reason to assign it to the Mithras cult, as women were excluded from Mithras sanctuaries.
