Fragment of a pebble relief (H. 0.32 Br. 0.31 D. 0.13). Inv. No. 70.064. Esp. Rec. Gaule, III, 261 No. 2277 and fig. See fig. 234. Mithras in the usual attitude as a bullkiller. The god has a sheath at his side. The dog with a collar holds its head near the wound in order to lick the flowing blood. Lost: Mithras' head, r.h. and dagger, r. foot and flying cloak; the hind part and legs of the bull; the hind part of the dog; the other animals and the busts of Sol and Luna.
