Head of Cautopates from Trier
A small limestone head of Cautopates, facing right, with a damaged nose and a stone pin on the reverse indicating it belonged to a relief, found on the slope of a hill near Heiligkreuz at Augusta Treverorum (modern Trier) in Belgica.

Head in Jura limestone (H. 0.18), found on the slope of the hill near Heiligkreuz, Augusta Treverorum (modern Trier), Belgica; now in the Provinzialmuseum, Trier.
Head of Cautopates, facing right. The nose is damaged. A stone pin on the reverse proves that the head belonged to a relief.
