Two red pottery fragments from a plate found near the Schützenstrasse at Augusta Treverorum (modern Trier) in Belgica, showing the forepart of a horned bull and the hindquarters of a lion, possibly Mithraic in character.

Two fragments of red pottery from a plate (diam. 0.22), found near the Schützenstrasse at Augusta Treverorum (modern Trier), Belgica. On the larger fragment, the foremost part of a horned bull; on the other, the rear-quarter of a lion. A Mithraic attribution is possible.
