Mithraeum IV at Ptuj
Fourth Mithraic sanctuary discovered at Ptuj, ancient Poetovio, at Zgornji Breg in 1937; the sanctuary (c.14 × 7 m) is oriented west–east with the standard corridor and bench division, an altar before the cult niche, and a water-basin in the pronaos.

Mithraeum IV was found at Ptuj (Pettau) at Zgornji Breg in 1937. The finds are in the Museum at Ptuj.

The sanctuary (L. ca. 14.00 Br. ca. 7.00) is oriented W-E. It has the normal division into a central corridor and two benches. Before the cult-niche there are remains of an altar. In the pronaos a water-basin was found.
