Mithraic finds from San Zeno and Val di Non

Dr. C. C. van Essen calls my attention to the fact that there are different places called S. Zeno.Nos. 723–724 is north of Trento and might have been called Tuenno.The Nos. 725 and 729 both come from S. Zeno in Val di Non near Meclo, whereas Nos. 726–728 are situated south of Trento, as appears from the bibliography (Rovereto). So one perceives a group along the important high-road Verona–Brenner–Innsbruck–Munich. In the obverse of 729 probably Sol and Mithras are represented.
