Uninscribed altars from Rudchester
Group of five uninscribed ritual altars discovered at different points inside the Mithraeum of Vindobala.

Uninscribed altar (H. 0.625 Br. 0.19 D. 0.15), found in 1844.
Uninscribed altar (H. 0.59 Br. 0.20 D. 0.16) found in front of the north bench near its east end (I on plan).
Uninscribed altar (H. 1.40 Br. 0.175 D. 0.125), found in front of the north bench near its west end (II on plan).
Uninscribed altar (H. 0.35 Br. 0.225 D. 0.16), found in front of the north bench near the laver (III on plan). There is a large shallow focus, rectangular with rounded corners.
Uninscribed altar (H. 0.435 Br. 0.18 D. 0.16), found in front of the north bench (IV on plan).
