Tauroctony fragment from Utum

Damaged limestone tauroctony relief fragment from near Utum, Moesia Inferior, of disputed exact provenance — either Utum or Chemlievo — depicting part of the standard bull-slaying scene.

Fragment of a damaged relief in limestone (H. 0.36 Br. 0.27 D. 0.10). According to Dobrusky it was found at Utum near the Danube (distr. Nikup = Nikopol) and it was afterwards transported to Chemlievo, where it must have been found according to Kazarow.
