Several marble fragments discovered at Garni have been interpreted by Armenia’s Service for the Protection of Historical Environment and Historical-Cultural Museum-Reserves as remains of a sculptural group representing Mihr fighting a bull. According to the Service, the group is believed to have originally stood in the apse of the Temple of Garni. A hoof carved from white marble was found near the temple during archaeological excavations and was considered by specialists to belong to this group.
