Damaged stone altar (H. 0.98 Br. 0.34 D. 0.28), found in the Altbachtal, together with the following No. TNMM 525. Treves, Provo Mus.

On the base Sol’s head. On the front an inscription:

D(eo) i(nvicto) S(oli) / Martius Martialis / pater / in suo posuit.

On the base the head of Sol in radiate crown; the globus and the whip.

Main inscription

D[eo] i[nvicto] S[oli] / Martius Martialis / pater / in suo posuit.
To the invincible god Sol, Pater Martius Martialis put it in his own [expense].
