Small marble head. Badly damaged. Found in Leptis Magna near the temple of the Magna Mater in the Forum. Caputo in Archeologia Classica I, 1949,207 and Pl. LVI, 2. Head with very pathetic expression. Phrygian cap. Probably a head of Mithras tauroctone.
