Statuette in polychromatic marble (H. 0.20), found in 1904 near the ruins of the theatre. Museum Timgad. Cumont in BSAF 1905, 255f with fig.; d. AA 1906, 163; AJA 1906,363; 1907, 115. Standing person, cross-legged. He is dressed in a long sleeved tunica, a mantle and an anaxyrides. With his l.h. he supports the elbow of his r.arm, on which he rests his head. Head and feet are lost. Probably a torchbearer.
