Inscription recording the construction of a templum Invicti from the ground by Aurelius Longinianus, centurion of the Third Augustan Legion, near the Roman camp at Lambaesis.

Inscription, found 100 meters south of the Roman camp. CIL VIII 2676; MMM II No. 527.

Pro salute d(omini) n(ostri) A . . . . . / invicti au(gusti) / Aurel(ius) Longinianus c(enturio) leg(ionis) / III aug(ustae) princ(eps) leg(ionis) s(upra) s(criptae) / templum Invicti aere / suo a solo fecit.

The templum invicti is probably a Mithraeum.
