Marble statue (H. 0.80).Becatti, 99 and PI. XXXVII, 1. Standing woman in himation. Between her feet is a hole for a waterpipe. Head, both arms and r. foot got lost. Becatti is not certain if it belongs to the inventory of the Mithraeum. It may be a water-Nymph.
The name of the Mithraeum of the Seven Gates refers to the doors depicted in the mosaic that decorates the floor, symbolising the seven planets through which the souls of the initiates have to pass.
