This suggests that the foundation of your experiments is the "Egyptian tradition" within Mithraism. Currently, I believe there were multiple Mithraic traditions: the Roman one, which drew more heavily on Neoplatonic and Pythagorean concepts, and the Egyptian one, which was more rooted in Egyptian magic.
