THE MYSTERY OF MHER'S DOOR
The film reveals the secret of the nearly 3,000-year-old inscription "The Door of Mher", the identities of the gods of the Van Kingdom pantheon, as well as the mathematical, geometric, astronomical and calendar knowledge of ancient priests-scientists.
It is based on author's three books: "The Door of Mher: The Ancient Numerical System as The Strucuture of the Universe" (2008), "The Gate of the God Haldi: The Stellar and Numerical Structure of the Ancient Pantheon" (2020), "Old Gods: The Astronomical Foundations of Mythos Conveyed by Khorenatsi" (2023).
Personal disclaimer: while I personally do think many of his discoveries are legitimate and explain a lot in regards to Mithraism in general, we must take into account that the author is not a linguist and his speculations in that regard are highly doubtful. Many linguists he cited for the movie are from the fringe (yet popular) group of liguists in Armenia who claim that Urartian language is Armenian. Academic consensus on urartian and urartian-armenian connections lies within borrowings and phonetic influence of urartian to armenian.
