The New Mithraeum
The Herald of the Star was the international organ of the Order of the Star in the East, the Theosophical organisation established around the young Jiddu Krishnamurti and the expectation of the coming World Teacher. Published in London from 1912 to 1927, the journal combined religious and philosophical essays with lectures, reports and news of the Order, reflecting the Theosophical milieu of initiation, spiritual evolution and universal brotherhood from which the movement emerged.
