Marcus Sikis Dossis was a devotee of Helios Mithras attested at the Mithraeum of Kreta. Like other worshippers from the sanctuary, including Straton son of Straton, he dedicated a sandstone altar inscribed in Greek. His mixed Roman and local naming formula reflects the cultural environment of the Greek-speaking Lower Danube provinces during the Roman period.
