Yellowish marble tauroctony fragment from the Mithraeum at Sarmizegetusa, Dacia, preserving the dog without a tail and part of Cautopates.

Preserved: the dog (without tail) biting the bull's neck; the serpent; the raven above Mithras' cloak; Cautes (r) cross-legged; Cautopates (l) cross-legged. The scorpion is not visible.
