Trapezium-shaped tauroctony from Sarmizegetusa

Trapezium-shaped relief. In the centre the bullkiller representation; the dog, the serpent and the scorpion; above Cautes the scene of Mithras' rockbirth; the bust of Luna (r) and of Sol (l); seven stars.
In the arched upper border from l. to r.:
1) Cautes walking to the r., his r.h. is raised.
2) Mithras riding the bull.
In the lower part from l. to r.:
3) Sol and Mithras at the repast. The tripod between them.
4) Cautopates.
5) Mithras and Sol ascending Sol's chariot; only the upper parts of the gods are preserved.
