Francis (1975:441) identifies the greek graffiti mentioning Kamerius in one of the Walls of the Mithraeum of Dura Europos as to celebrating his elevation to the rank of Nymphus, the second grade of initiates among the Mithraic community [sic].
A later scratched text [TNMM 614] was found on the walls of the same temple. It was probably written by Kamerios himself to celebrate his ascension to the seventh degree, the Pater.
